The JDA Story
People call Jeff Davis a people person, and it’s true. Networking is easy for him and just flows from who he is. He loves the collaborative process, team building, strategic implementation, friend-raising, new business development, customer and member care, and helping others make connections.
After finishing college with a Marketing Degree, and marrying his high school sweetheart, he jumped into the Personal Computer revolution and its Wild West swagger colliding with business and technological innovations. Jeff would say the Lord brought him to the right place at the right time to begin a career. For two decades, beginning in 1979, he was captivated by the pioneer spirit and rapid change that thrust this business sector to the forefront of the consumer products market. It was an exciting time, yet there was a growing restlessness in Jeff's heart and ultimately he made the big transition into vocational Christian work. This has taken him all over the world and honed his leadership, pastoral giftings, team building, organizational development, and cross cultural management skills.
His two vocational paths, business and ministry, converged into several God given opportunities. He was a founding Board Member for Marketplace Ministries Worldwide, utilizing small business as a platform for evangelism and discipleship in third world contexts. Serving Evangelical Friends Church in denominational leadership, as Chief Financial Officer, refined both his fiscal management acumen as well as his abilities to implement systems to steward capital and human resources. For eleven years, he oversaw regional operations, finance and accounting, marketing, real estate and facilities, legal and insurance compliance, and strategic initiatives for the network of Friends Churches in California, Arizona, and Nevada. Being part of planting two churches, and serving as a bi-vocational pastor has given him a balanced perspective related to the call of God to serve in both paid and volunteer capacities.
As a consultant, Jeff draws on a broad set of experiences, ranging from multi-billion dollar corporate contexts to small non-profit settings. His work in executive search has developed his abilities to leverage effective communication and meticulous research, to identify the best job candidates who fit the culture and objectives of an organization. People recognize Jeff's talents in team building, organizational design, marketing, fundraising, and strategic implementation. He has been an innovator in business, and entrepreneurial in church ministry, non-profit organizations, missionary support, and coaching for leadership development.
Jeff will tell you that his life is focused on spending his dash serving Christ.
