J. Davis & Associates was launched out of a desire to assist Christian enterprises to build strong leadership teams and effective operating processes to accomplish their God-given mission. Jeff Davis draws from 20 years of experience in his corporate career followed by 20 years in vocational ministry, with the expertise to enable Kingdom-minded organizations to mobilize best practices.
As a consultant, Jeff taps into a broad set of experiences, ranging from multi-billion dollar corporate contexts to small non-profit settings. His work in executive search has developed his abilities to leverage effective communication and meticulous research, to identify the best job candidates who fit the culture and objectives of an organization. People recognize Jeff's talents in team building, organizational design, marketing, fundraising, and strategic implementation. He has been an innovator in business, and entrepreneurial in church ministry, non-profit organizations, missionary support, and coaching for leadership development.

Julie Davis, CPA
Jeff's experience ranges from Christian non-profit to multi-billion dollar corporate settings. He is recognized for his talents in team building, organizational design, marketing & fundraising, and strategic implementation. Jeff has been an innovator in business, and entrepreneurial in church ministry, non-profit organizations, mission sending organizations, missionary care & support, and coaching for leadership development.
As a consultant, Jeff draws on a broad set of experiences, ranging from multi-billion dollar corporate contexts to small non-profit settings. His business resume includes IBM, Xerox, AST Computers, Ingram Micro. Non-profits include Azusa Pacific University School of Theology, Evangelical Friends Church Southwest, Canyon Hills Friends Church, Rowntree Gardens (CCRC), Marketplace Ministries Worldwide, Friends Financial Development Corp., and Olive Branch International.
Following a 20 year business career in the personal computer industry, Jeff made a significant transition to pastoral ministry and denominational leadership with Evangelical Friends Church Southwest. He oversaw regional operations, finance and accounting, marketing, real estate and facilities, legal and insurance compliance, and strategic initiatives for the network of Friends Churches in California, Arizona, and Nevada. He has worked extensively providing missionary support and training in Africa, S.E. Asia, and Latin America. He pastors bi-vocationally at The Well Friends Church. He is a founding board member for Marketplace Ministries Worldwide, utilizing small business as a platform for evangelism and discipleship in third-world contexts.
Jeff excels at understanding how organizations operate most effectively and helping people get into the right place to maximize their strengths and talents.
Julie began her career in public accounting, then owned and operated an accounting practice, and currently focuses on a select group of clients. She specializing in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, providing accounting services, bookkeeping services and tax preparation for small businesses.
Julie received her Bachelors degree in Business Accounting from Cal State University Fullerton in 1985. She worked in public accounting for a medium sized firm in Newport Beach which was later acquired by Deloitte & Touche. She earned her CPA license in 1989 and has continued to work in small business or nonprofit accounting since then. She started JD and Company in Orange County, California in 2004.
She enjoys helping new businesses as they enter the marketplace and working alongside business owners to navigate the challenges of the highly regulated State of California. She is a member of the California Society of CPA's, the National Association of Professional Women and the Sunrise Rotary Club of Yorba Linda.
Jackie Roberts, Research and Communications Manager

Jackie Roberts joined the JDA team in December 2020 as Research and Communications Manager. She has a diverse set of skills and experience with client and customer facing businesses. Ranging from her time as a small business owner, a restaurant in rural Minnesota, to her role as a styling consultant for a national online apparel company; Jackie has honed her abilities in serving clients and administrative processes.
She earned her Bachelors degree in Fine Arts at Westmont College. Jackie enjoys connecting with people and any opportunity to learn a new skill. Outside of work, she loves to cook, create, read, and get outdoors with her husband and their dog.
